Premiere on August 24, 2024, at the Sherbrooke Contemporary Dance Festival, 8:00 PM.

The new creation, a choreographic work inspired by the world of addiction, explores the themes of addiction and human freedom. By closely examining these subjects, the creator, Nicolas, underscores the philosophical foundations of humanity, ranging from need to freedom and from determinism to creation. The performance delves into the solitude of the individual in the face of desires and needs, exploring themes such as drug addiction, alcoholism, and technology dependency. Using dance as a metaphor for our world, the creation aims to raise awareness among the audience about ethical issues and enable them to build themselves as individuals. With a duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes and featuring 6 performers, this production is aimed at the general public. By shedding light on our existential questions, without necessarily providing ready-made answers, Nicolas hopes to stimulate reflection and introspection among the spectators.
